Anne Burgers

Anne Burgers MSc is Science and Innovation advisor at Stichting Proefdiervrij. She has a Master degree in Animal Sciences from Wageningen University.

She has extensive experience in policy work, starting in the agricultural sector and in recent years for Proefdiervrij. Combined with her scientific background and experience with communication, she can spot opportunities for outreach and getting animal-free research models accepted on a larger scale.

Within MERIT, Proefdiervrij is an associated partner and will be mainly involved in training activities and outreach.
